Bi-State Community Health News

Dear Friends,

If you or someone you know will need health insurance in 2018, this is the time to sign up. Navigators and certified application counselors at Community Health Centers offer free assistance over the phone or in-person. There are only a few weeks left to enroll. It's easy to Find a Health Center near you in New Hampshire or Vermont.

Please join us in welcoming Bi-State's newest member, Grace Cottage Family Health! We look forward to working with CEO Roger Allbee and his team in Townshend, Vermont.

This month we express our sincere thanks to women and men veterans nationwide, and especially the 145,000 veterans living in New Hampshire and Vermont.

We hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends!

Veterans Depend on Community Health Centers

National Association of Community Health Centers

We are pleased to be able to do our part by providing quality health care to a rapidly growing number of veterans across the country. Every day, more and more veterans are getting their care at Community Health Centers. Health centers serve more than 300,000 veterans and their ranks have grown by 50 percent since 2008. With passage of the Veterans Choice Act in 2014, the National Association of Community Health Centers developed and implemented strategies designed to increase participation in the Veterans Choice Program. This is part of a broader national strategy to improve how veterans can access care right in their own communities through health centers and other local providers outside of VA facilities.
